THE GLAMOUR MARKET

Image
T he sun was gradually sinking into by drenching itself in the darkness of the starry horizon while the noises of the whistles blown by traffic and the honks nearly left me deafened with the increment of the pacing epoch. It was a glitter evening and everything seemed so damn glamorous. I could simply not stop staring at the young women demonstrating their ostentatious outfits and the latest fashion that peaked out of the inner showrooms of the market. The much popular fashion search destinations among the majority of population is usually not always the big malls or designers shops and boutiques. This above description is of a local market in Gurgaon now renamed the Gurugram. They call it the sector 14 market. A not much huge like mall types market is this open ground market that proudly demonstrated the latest trends, designs and styles. A crowded affair it is to stay up and watch people pick their favourite colour and patterns from the bunch of collections. The adja

COMPARING INTENTIONS

Image
L et's talk about something serious for a change. Do I already have your attention then? Good! So here's what we're talking about today: Teasing vs Bullying This is kind of something that isn't very new to us. For many of us we know "Bullying" to be the main topic. Now firstly when people use the term "bully" or "bullying" I actually imagine a bull charging at my behind. I just do. Don't laugh! Alright fine! Anyways so I would rather use the term "Insulting" because let's face it, if we talk verbally that's what the person's really doing right? The physical insults only happen once you actually do something back. There is a saying that "When you have no option to resort to, you resort to your hands and legs". However not many people tend to understand this that on a scale of 1 to 10 we give an 8 in terms of being insulting to a person way too easil

Selfies and Chelfies : Social Media is our new Shopping Guide

Image
S elfie culture has led to a "wear it once" mentality among younger shoppers. Women are buying more clothes, but wearing them for less time. The numbers that show that although women are spending 5% less than they used to on clothes, they are buying 20% more of them. Analysts say the reason for this is the increased use of social media. The fact that people upload so many pictures means that they want to look different every time… Some fashion bloggers even feel it would hurt their brand to be seen in the same clothes twice. According to the Times, retail shops face increasing pressure to upgrade fixtures and fittings to provide the best backdrop for shoppers to take pictures and share them straight from the changing room, which social media has dubbed the"chelfie". "We see lots of people taking fitting room selfies," Judd Crane, Selfridges director of women's wear has said. "A spacious and distinctive environment is essentia

CHILDHOOD

K ids are swell creatures aren't they? Annoying and cute, one of the greatest company as well as the highest nuisances you could have in this world. However no matter what you got to love the little ducklings or monkeys or whatever cute animal you want to compare them with. I would prefer just kids though because somewhere in the distance a duck goes like "Quaack?". As we all know, at our tender age we were all the worst masterminds or just at our peak of being diabolical when it comes to playing the pranks fashionable to five-ten year olds. Well lessons from mojo and bugs bunny aside we also do get those kids who do the exact opposite at that age, like show their talent in gymnastics, mathematics, and many more. Don't worry, I am not going to take you straight from the happy world into the boring reality just yet. Also I am not forgetting the ones who ain't on the zenith of childh

Love Is Simply Complicated

Image
O ur  world is filled with complications from so many angles. We just don’t know what to do with the situation. One such complication is the concept of love. Okay so here it comes, the brilliant situation formed by the imagination when there is a temptation giving rise to certain motivation. However sometimes there’s a degradation in the heart’s condition because of the unrequited infatuation giving rise to depression. That, my friends is love in a matter of words. However the fact is it obviously doesn't end there.     Quite frankly the words themselves strike either an “Awwww” or a “I’m really sorry but we’re just friends” depending on whether you’re that girl or not. I mean if she’s thinking that he’s not thinking of her, she feels it safe to go “Awww sooo sweet!”  It’s either that or if she feels the same, and has been hiding it so perfectly. Like you won’t believe how much she deserves a Golden G

Why are People Joining ISIS?

Image
The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant ( ISIL , IPA / ˈ aɪ s ᵻ l / ), alternatively translated as Islamic State of Iraq and Syria or Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham ( ISIS , / ˈ aɪ s ᵻ s ), is a Salafi jihadist militant group that follows an Islamic fundamentalist, Wahhabi   doctrine of Sunni Islam. The group is also known as Daesh.   SO Coming to the important question and its Important Answer…..       Q.   Why are People Joining ISIS? A.       The answers are as follows. 1. Social Media : Unlike the boring monologues of Ayman Zawahiri, the current leader of al Qa’eda, they use clever propaganda videos that have an appeal to the youth. Through the internet they recruit people from across the world to go and join them. If travel to Syria and Iraq becomes difficult, through the social media they encourage the “lone wolfs” to do what they can to serve the ISIL’ cause in the countries where they reside. 2. Success and a staying Presence: Muslims see the blac

Self Is The Ultimate Judge

Image
The thinking of an individual is strongly motivated by societal influence and impact. What must be worn, what must be said and all other habits are usually performed by an individual under what is considered “DECENT” in accordance with societal terms. However, whatever “people” say should not affect us, but it does. Why does this happen? Why does one allow himself to be affected by societies’ norms? Though some are to be followed, but when talking about Indian society, it has always remained backward. Except for a few modern family, the ratio of backward to modern people is perhaps 80:20 . Even modern families are so, to an extent. Limitations are always put forth in some or the other way because at the end Indian people are captivated by age old superstitions, superficial believes which act as hindrances to societal progress. Women are barred from attiring in clothes of their desire and are judged on the basis of their clothing instead of their etiquette or qualificati

Why die? when you can fly!

“ Goodbye, my friend, goodbye   My love, you are in my heart.   It was preordained we should part   And be reunited by and by.   Goodbye: no handshake to endure.   Let's have no sadness -- furrowed brow.   There's nothing new in dying now   Though living is no newer.  “  A note dated 28 th of December 1925 was those last words of the famous Russian poet Sergie Esenin who had handed over this last piece of poem to his friend written in blood before hanging himself to death in a hotel room at saint Petersburg, depression was the suspected reason. Is it really that easy? Don’t they ever think of what next will happen to the friends and family, known and those faintly known people who would just be numbed for some time or may be a lifetime? Can someone so sensitive be this heartless and selfish that he will take away his own life leaving the rest dying in memories for the rest of their life? Suicides seem to be a buzz word to me these days. It hurts to know
